FIBA Europe Coach Section

This play is designed to get a good look for your primary shooter or an easy basket from a forward close to the basket. The initial alignment is a 4 out 1 in.
O1 starts the play with a pass to O4. O5 uses a V-cut to set his defender up and get solid post position on the ballside. O4 passes the ball to O3 who has to get open on the wing.

O3 fakes a low post entry. O4 follows his pass and sets a ballscreen for O3. O2 sets his man up and cuts to the basket.

After O3 uses the ball screen from O4 he reverses the ball to O1, who became open by executing a V-cut. O5 and O2 set a staggered backscreen for O4.

O5 and O3 are now setting a staggered screen for the shooter O2. O1 has to make the read whether O4 is open underneath the basket or O2 gets open.
